My background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology & Sociology from Louisiana State University, as well as doctoral work in a University of Houston program in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. I am also certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and am a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Training is a strong part of my background and I am certified in Teleometrics™ Models for Management, have written and delivered my own trainings on the fundamentals of Human Resource Management and was pleased to be a part of the development and implementation of an Online Global Ethics Training Program. In my over nine years of experience in the Human Resources field, I have served several organizations as an HR Consultant, as well as a strategist and generalist.

I currently work as a MidMarket Strategy Consultant for Insperity in Kingwood, TX where I conduct interviews with the “C” level executive teams of my clients to identify business objectives, formulate hypotheses and align organizational strategy with essential, optimal and strategic human capital practices. I am also a subject matter expert in the use and analysis of Insperity proprietary assessment tools, and as such am responsible for managing product deployment and deliverables, data analysis and system updates.

In my free time, I love to read (mostly suspense and historical fiction), watch reality TV, swim and spend time with my two year old son and wonderful husband.  I also like to sleep, but I don’t get nearly enough of that!
