I have an extensive background in human resources, including management, employee relations, recruitment, training and development, policy development, conflict resolution and compliance. I have worked in the consulting, healthcare and retail industries.

In addition to my professional experience, I have a Bachelors Degree from Ohio State University and a Masters Degree in Education with a major in Guidance & Counseling from Youngstown State University. I am also a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Ohio, a Certified Mediator through the Akron Bar Association & University of Akron School of Law, DDI Certified and hold an Advanced Certificate in Employment Law and Certificate in Employee Relations Law. I am a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).

When I have a free moment, I enjoy traveling, art, community involvement, spending time with my rescue pugs and boston terrier and volunteering. One of my dogs is a "therapy assist" dog my husband and I take to a local retirement center to spend time with the residents. I also volunteer as a "patient representative/advocate" at a local medical center.
