She is a human resource professional with over 20 years of international experience in start-up operations, mining and exploration, food distribution and the customer service industries. Scott is also a former small business owner.  

She has achieved certifications as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR). Scott is originally from Canada, but has called Houston, Texas home for over 11 years.  

When she has free time, she likes creative arts and crafts, as well as playing tennis and golf.
