I believe that challenging the status quo has helped me, my employer and the clients we serve.
I’ve always had a little bit of rebel in me. I attempted to break rules or challenge the status quo at an early age. Along the way I learned many lessons, some the hard way. Still even today, I don’t like to hear words or phrases such as “you can’t,” “don’t” and “be cautious” to name a few.
In my professional life, I believe that challenging the status quo and being innovative has helped me, my employer and the clients we serve. I have worked in the HR-services outsourcing industry for over 15 years, and if something doesn’t make sense to me, I am the first to push back.
I have held several positions with Insperity that have provided me with opportunities to work directly with owners and employees of small-to-medium-sized businesses. There is nothing more satisfying then preventing a situation from turning into something ugly for our clients or for my company.
My HR motto is: Think about what you say before you say it … if it does not sound right in your head … don’t say it!
