I have a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, Organizational Behavior and Management from the University of Houston. I have my certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). I am a member of the Houston Human Resource Management Association (HHRMA) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). I have 29 years of experience in the Human Resources field, with 25 of those years serving in various HR positions, including the Human Resources Manager, for a manufacturing company in Houston, TX.

I currently work as a Senior Human Resource Specialist for Insperity in Houston, TX where I provide HR services to several mid-market client companies to help increase their employee productivity and reduce employer liabilities. I have won both a monthly and quarterly Insperity Achievement Award for my ability to handle difficult issues well and for providing training and HR services in both Spanish and English for the clients of Insperity in Houston.

When I have a free moment, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, especially meeting for dinner and social get-togethers! I also love to read, especially fiction books, and my favorite channels to watch are CNN, PBS and old sitcom reruns. I enjoy traveling and visiting new places.  A trip to New York City is tops on my list because of my love of the City and the theater.
