Richard is President of Insperity and its subsidiaries.  He is a Class III director and has been a director of the Company since 1989. He has been President since August 2003. Before being elected President, Richard served as Executive Vice President of Administration, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of the Company from February 1997 until August 2003.

Prior to that, he served as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of the Company since 1989. Before joining Insperity in 1989, Richard served as a Senior Financial Officer and Controller for several companies in the manufacturing and seismic data processing industries. He also serves on the University of Houston’s C.T. Bauer College of Business Dean’s Executive Advisory Board and on the Board of Directors of the YMCA of Greater Houston.

Richard served the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations (NAPEO) as President (1999-2000), First Vice President, Second Vice President and Treasurer. In addition, he previously served as Chairman of the Accounting Practices Committee of NAPEO for five years. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from the University of Houston.
