California HR-It's Full of Variety!
Biography: Diana Gregory

I have worked in Human Resources for more than 20 years, and have a Bachelor’s degree in Government.  Over the years, while working in roles of ever increasing HR Management responsibility in various industries (insurance, manufacturing, retail, professional services), it became evident that by augmenting my college degree with certifications (Senior Professional in Human Resources-SPHR), training (Employer Resources Institute, Development Dimensions International) and numerous employment law seminar CPE’s, I could offer better informed HR strategies and advice to my employers.  In fact, through luck (okay, hard work, too), I have had opportunities to speak at industry/business association meetings and in seminars for business and human resources professionals.  I have been a California Employer Advisor Advisory Board member for more than 10 years, and contribute human resources advice in publications such as “California Employment Law Answers.”

My current role, as Senior Human Resources Specialist for Administaff Inc. in Walnut Creek, California, affords me the everyday challenge to put my education, experience and knowledge to work consulting with the owners and managers of small and medium sized businesses that make America great.  How sweet is that?!

I’m an introspective, reclusive type who sticks to singular activities like reading (HR stuff, Wall Street Journal, Dictionary-yes! and junk mystery novels). And, when the (aging) body allows, walking, hiking, and going to the gym…with MP3-type companionship!
