Biography: Kelly Yeates

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Texas and a Master of Business Administration from Wayland Baptist University. I have been certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP).

I am a member of HR Houston, the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and World at Work. I have 13 years of experience in the Human Resources field, which includes serving as HR Director and Vice President of HR for a technology business and a financial institution in the Dallas metroplex.

I currently work as the Director of Corporate Human Resources for Administaff, Inc. in Kingwood, TX where I am responsible for corporate employee relations, training and organizational development.

In my free time, there is nothing that I enjoy more than spending the day with my husband---of almost two decades---and our two children of the two-legged variety and one of the four-legged variety (our golden lab). I am an avid reader, especially of current and historical events; and feel disconcerted if my nightstand doesn’t hold at least a half dozen books awaiting my perusing.
