Making a Community Difference
Biography: Lynette White

I am the National Volunteer Coordinator with Administaff, a professional employer organization headquartered in Houston. I represent the Company’s community involvement philanthropic vision, and I promote employee volunteerism in our culture on a national scale.

In March 2000, I joined Administaff as the administrative assistant to the Atlanta Service Center director.  As a key player in the Center’s day-to-day operations, I helped establish the Company’s position in the Atlanta market. I also led the expansion of our volunteer program.  In 2001, I was honored to be selected as Volunteer of the Year.

In 2003, I was promoted to Service Region Administrator and supported the general manager and the management staff. During this time, I also served as Eastern Region Volunteer Coordinator, working to promote volunteerism and to coordinate volunteer projects and events.

I love working at Administaff for many reasons: the Company’s support of work-life balance for its employees; its philanthropic culture; and, its mentorship philosophy.  We are encouraged to grow and thrive both professionally and personally, while seeking our “highest level” as contributing individuals to our workplace, our families and our communities. I feel valued as an employee realizing that my contributions are making a positive difference through our shared vision.

I knew even as a young adult that I wanted to be involved with nonprofit organizations---to give of myself and make a positive difference in my world.  Those early passions are now being realized and nurtured in my position as National Volunteer Coordinator with Administaff.

I am also a member of the Metro Atlanta Corporate Volunteer Council, where members lead by example and that includes mentoring others and promoting opportunities to volunteer and serve.
