Colorado Issues Minimum Wage Order 25 

The Colorado Department of Labor and Employment has adopted Minimum Wage Order Number 25, effective January 1, 2009. Colorado Minimum Wage Order Number 25 establishes a new state minimum wage rate of $7.28, which is adjusted for inflation in accordance with Article XVIII, Section 15, of the Colorado Constitution. The Department has published the Order, along with the Minimum Wage Poster in both English and Spanish, on its Website at http://www.coworkforce.com/lab/minimumwage.asp. Employers must post a copy of the Colorado Minimum Wage Order 25 Poster in an area frequented by employees where it may be easily read.
