Oklahoma amends its UI rules on various subjects

Oklahoma. —Rules amended. Oklahoma has amended its rules under the Employment Security Act as follows:

Cameras. New sections have been added stating that cameras will not be allowed in any hearing conducted by the Assessment Board, the Appeal Tribunal or the Board of Review.

Payment of benefits by debit card. If a claimant chooses to be paid by crediting benefit payments on a debit card, he or she is now required to activate the card by contacting the debit card service center within 90 days of its issuance. If a claimant fails to activate the card within the time allowed, the card will be cancelled.

Records maintained by employers. In addition to the other records that employers are required to maintain for four years, employers must now keep records that will confirm, verify or supply data that is required in any field on any Commission report form that is required to be filed by an employer or on behalf of an employer.

Telephone and fax numbers. The telephone and fax numbers for the Assessment Board, Appeal Tribunal and Board of Review have been changed as follows:

  1. Assessment Board: The telephone number is now (405) 601-3311 and the fax number is now (405) 601-3337.
  2. Appeal Tribunal:The telephone number is now (405) 601-3311 and the fax number is now (405) 601-3337.
  3. Board of Review: The telephone number is now (405) 522-5363 and the fax number is now (405) 522-5371.

Audit requirements for subrecipients. An audit report is now required to be filed with the Director of the Internal Audit Division within 30 days after the completion of the audit and not later than nine months from the end of the grant recipient's fiscal year. Previously, the audit report had to be filed not later than one year from the end of the grant recipient's fiscal year.
