Philadelphia, PA releases 2009 wage tax rate
The Philadelphia Department of Revenue has released the Philadelphia wage tax rates, for personal income tax purposes, for 2009. The rates are as follows:
- Residents 3.9296% (.039296)
- Non-Residents 3.4997% (.034997)
The wage tax is to be withheld and remitted at the rate in effect on the date of the paycheck. ( Important Notice, Philadelphia Department of Revenue, June 5, 2009.)
