Veterans Day is always observed on Nov. 11, regardless of the day of the week it falls. Veterans Day is a federal holiday; therefore, federal offices will be closed on Wed., Nov. 11, 2009. The USPS also observes Veterans Day, and there will be no home mail delivery. Most banks and credits unions will also be closed.
