Sample Promotions / Postings Policy

The organization fills most jobs by promotion from within. Because of our rapid growth, we also recruit from the outside. All such placements, be they promotions or new hires, are based solely on performance and qualification for the job.

It is our policy to fill vacant positions from within whenever possible. Job openings will be posted on the bulletin board. If an employee wishes to apply, he or she may fill out a Job Opening Response Form and give it to his or her supervisor. The supervisor will talk to the employee about his or her qualifications for the job and pass the Job Opening Response Form onto the Human Resources Department with comments. HR will review the employee's original application and the comments of the supervisor and determine whether an interview will be granted. HR will then contact the employee for an interview about the position. A final interview will be conducted by the supervisor offering the position.
