Are many employers offering long-term care benefits?

According to a survey, of those companies offering long-term care benefits, 80 percent sponsor a voluntary, employee-pay-all long-term care benefit and only 15 percent offer a group long-term care benefit. Skilled home care (offered by 94%) and nursing home care (offered by 92%) are most likely to be offered by long-term care programs. Other frequently covered services include adult day care (66%), hospice care (57%), case/care management (55%), unskilled home care (51%), and respite care (48%).
