What is performance management?
Performance management can be defined as an ongoing managerial process that consists of planning performance, managing performance through observation and feedback (coaching), and evaluating performance. The overall intent of the process is to improve organizational performance and achieve business results. Beyond that, objectives will vary depending on the employer.
